Side Effects of Dynabol

Dynabol is a powerful 19-nortestosterone (19-nor) anabolic steroid; one of the most powerful mass promoting steroids with tremendous healing and recovery capabilities. A rather slow acting asteroid, even so, with patience and a little hard work it can yield some truly amazing results. If thatís not enough, this is also a great steroid for increasing muscular endurance, and this means even more work can be done at a higher rate of efficiency; all in all, this is one fantastic steroid. Nevertheless, Dynabol is not one of the most common Nandrolone based steroids on the market; Nandrolone-Decanoate (Deca-Durabolin) and Nandrolone-Phenylpropionate (Durabilin or NPP) are both far more common. Even so, it can be found, and if you do find it youíll find it very similar to the Decanoate version; still a slow acting steroid but slightly faster than Deca-Durabolin.

Regardless of its slightly uncommon nature, what can be said of Deca-Durabolin can largely be said of Dynabol, and this applies to functional traits as well as side-effects. You bet, there are possible side-effects due to supplementation and one that is guaranteed in all men who supplement, but as is with Deca-Durabolin this is one steroid that carries an immensely high toleration level, and as such, side-effects can be avoided. Of course, weíre only talking about healthy adult men, and that leads us to two important notes. Adolescents should not supplement with Dynabol, just as they shouldnít supplement with any anabolic steroid due to the stress and damage it can place on a developing androgen system. As for adult women, some women might be able to tolerate it in low doses; however, itís typically not recommended as the virilization rating is much too high; there are far more efficient choices for women than Nandrolone based compounds. In any case, if you are a healthy adult male supplementation can be considered, and if such supplementation is to be successful there are some things youíll need to know. Below we will go over the side-effects of Dynabol, their cause and effect, and of course, what you can do to ensure no such problems arise.

Testosterone Production:

Testosterone Production:

Dynabol also restricts the production of natural hormones in the body. In case of men, the body stops producing testosterone which leads to impotency. Dynabol has the ability to aromatize and convert to female hormone estrogen. This female hormone gets deposited in the breast tissues causing abnormal breasts in men. This condition is known as Gynocomastia. Luckily this side effect can also be corrected with medications. Increased estrogen also causes loss of libido and enlarged prostrate.

Due to the suppression, this makes exogenous testosterone supplementation beyond imperative; the type of exogenous testosterone you choose will not make a difference; you simply need to provide your body with this primary androgen it essentially needs. If you do this, you will not suffer from low level effects as the testosterone you require will be provided in exogenous fashion, but there are a few more important notes. Due to your natural testosterone production being suppressed, your testicles will experience a bit of atrophy; a loss of fullness. Of course, once the use of Dynabol and all anabolic steroids is discontinued and they have cleared your system, assuming you did not have a low testosterone condition before and did not dramatically abuse your steroidal supplementation everything will return to normal. Your natural testosterone production will begin again, and your testicles will return to their normal size.

Dynabol, like all Nandrolone compounds is a progestin based anabolic steroid with an extremely mild aromatizing nature; yes, it does aromatize, but only at about 20% the rate of testosterone. While this is a low level of aromatase, itís still enough that makes it worthy of mentioning, and with the progesterone factor this will be the cause of the primary Dynabol side-effects. In the primary category, there are two possible side-effects, gynecomastia and excess water retention. Excess water retention is largely due to the aromatizing nature of this steroid, but Aromatase Inhibitors (AIís) can help. AIís do precisely what their name implies; they inhibit aromatase which is the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, and what doesnít exist cannot cause a problem. Further, AIís also reduce the amount of estrogen we have in our body, thereby providing even more protection, but there is one more important factor. The main reason many hold water with aromatizing steroids is the same reason they hold water without them; overeating, and while theyíll often blame the steroid the true culprit is their lack of discipline. This is especially true with carbohydrate consumption, and when aromatizing steroids are being used, your sensitivity to water retention will be even greater. This should tell you a very important truth; control your carbohydrate consumption as well as your entire diet and youíll make things much easier on yourself; couple this with an AI and water retention will not be a problem.

Then we have gynecomastia or male-breast enlargement, and for any man, this side-effect is dreadful. In most cases, steroids that aromatize heavily are the prime culprit, but progestin based steroids can also lead to this condition in men who are sensitive. With the conjoined progestin and mild aromatizing nature, this make gynecomastia a true concern for any man, and if youíre going to avoid it something must be done. Once again, AIís will be your saving grace, as they have the ability to protect against gynecomastia that is caused by estrogen or progesterone. As you may know, many often use Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMís) such as Tamoxifen Citrate (Nolvadex) to protect against gynecomastia, but SERMís will not work here. SERMís can only help with aromatase based gynecomastia, and as progesterone is a concern, AIís are the only thing that will do the trick; for this purpose, the AIís Anastrozole (Arimidex) or Letrozole (Femara) will be your best choices.

Then we have the final possible side-effects to Dynabol use, and they are two side-effects that are quite common with steroidal supplementation; high blood pressure and high LDL cholesterol; actually, Dynabol can even have a negative impact on HDL cholesterol as well. At any rate, your total dosing and overall lifestyle will be the biggest factors when it comes to protection, and if these things are not in-line a problem may occur. Doses that surpass 500mg per week are almost guaranteed to cause a problem at some level, and if your diet is unhealthy you can all but guarantee your levels are going to go up. Of course, excess estrogen can have a negative impact on your blood pressure and cholesterol, and once again the use of an AI can offer some help, but it will still all boil down to your lifestyle and dosing. Supplement with proper doses, follow a sound and healthy diet and avoid all activities that may be harmful to your health, and most all healthy adult men will be fine. It must be noted; as we are all unique individuals, even with proper supplementation some men may have a problem due to a genetic predisposition to high blood pressure or cholesterol or simply a poor response to the hormone. In any case, such men will be in a very small minority, but itís something you still need to be aware of, and on that basis you should keep an eye on your levels.
